Trying to secure your dream UK rental property?
Get access to more housing options and provide the security your landlord is looking for with the Housing Hand rent guarantor service.
Our aim is to make renting accessible to everyone. As the UK’s biggest guarantor provider service and the only pay-monthly provider, we hope to get you approved quickly with our straightforward application process.
Focus on your move to the UK, whilst we handle the reassurance your landlord needs.
The only ‘pay monthly’ guarantor service.
Payments start when you move in from as little as £36 per month, depending on your monthly rent.
Put simply, a rent guarantor is someone who legally takes responsibility for your rent if you are unable to pay.
Having a rent guarantor is a proven and trustworthy way to increase your UK renting options. At Housing Hand, our mission is to make renting easier by providing a UK guarantor to everyone who doesn’t have one.
Having a guarantor proves to landlords and accommodation providers that you can meet rent and bill requirements, especially in cases where you are moving to the UK for the first time and haven’t had a chance to build up a favourable credit score yet or have a poor credit history.
98% of those who apply with Housing Hand are eligible.
Whether you’re 18 or 80, are a full-time student or working professional, we can guarantee the rent for the whole of your tenancy.
We’re here to help you get a rent guarantor as quickly and simply as possible. We’ve listed the basic requirements here.
When using Housing Hand, we’ll also need a co-signer to sign up with you. This is an individual over the age of 18 who will take responsibility for you meeting your obligations outlined in your tenancy agreement.

Get your guarantor
Apply today and follow our easy step-by-step guide. It only takes a few minutes, and you’ll be even closer to moving into your new rental property.
Move in
We keep it nice and simple. Once you’re in, you can pay our fee by splitting it over 6 or 12 months, and we stand as your guarantor for the length of your tenancy.
Finding a guarantor costs less than you think
When you complete your application, you will be asked to pay a small onboarding fee of £20. This allows us to complete your ID verification checks on you and your co-signer. You then won’t need to pay a penny more until you move in. (Unless you choose to pay upfront!)
Our mission is for everyone to be able to move into a home they’ll love, so we want to make our rent guarantor service affordable for everyone.
Whether you’re a student in need of a UK rent guarantor or a professional moving into a home, you can pay upfront or split our fee over 6 or 12 months.
As the UK’s largest guarantor service, Housing Hand has supported over 95,000 tenants since 2013. By choosing Housing Hand as your UK guarantor you:
